Jun 9 Longmont,CO Sunrise Stampede 10k 55:30 8:57 miles, was a training run with a 9:00/min goal !

Very windy and dry, hit me hard and dired out badly, fun !
Jun 21 Longest Day Run, Windsor, CO 5k 25:25 8:00pm start, good field, 18th overall, large 35-64 ag 6th
Good first mile, laid back 2nd, another good training type
effort, need speed work after 10miler next weekend
Jul 4 Downhill Mile Superior, CO 6:19 4 seconds faster then 2010, same time as 2009
1st 3/4's on pace.... last qtr slowed 48th male, top 50 !
Jul 9 Roger's River Run 5k Longmont, CO 26:03 New course, 4 secs slower then last year hot morning

Aug 6 Haulin Balls 2m El Dorado, KS 18:21 102 degrees out, ran 4 miles in the morning wasn't
going to race today...7th state raced in, in 2011 !
5th Overall, 3rd 40-49ag....
hottest race that I ever ran.... very pleased !
Aug 11 Red Carpet 5K West Bloomfield, MI 23:47 Real good race, 7:20/15:05/23:43.6... good temp, nice course
best time in 3 years !!!!
46/236 4th age group, top 5 deep for awards

due to everyone missing the first turn, gps was at 3.25

Aug 24 Maryvilles, MI Sunset 5k No Race Went to race, 1 hour drive, got to town and was met by
a huge thunder and hail the size of silver dollar storm.
It cleared by the Fire Dept. postponed the race 1 week
Aug 31 Went back and ran this race 24:02 Course 3.2,good race, results pending
2nd AG !!!!! 18/164 overall
Aug 27 Rocky Mountain Master's Games Fort Collins, CO 3000m Track, Master's 50yr shot put
3000 Had a small groin tweak, ran easy and steady
1st place AG, 15:09.24
Shot Right after 3000, shot once and left 7.76 meters
Sep 5 West Side Duathlon Arvada, CO 1:26:01 1st Duathlon ever.... 4th AG, 1 sec behind 3rd
caught one guy in the 5k run, closed a 100 yd gap
on the 23 yr old that beat me by a sec.... learned alot
during this race, fasest last 5k of all clydedales
